"We are going to Madapiya!!!!!" exclaimed my brother. It was Raju Mama's Sagai Tilak, mummy wore a beautiful yellow poshak and my sister and I wore frocks. Our frocks were brand new and had been sewn the day before by Sugan Bhuva ji sa in Karanwas.
I still remember arriving in Mandapiya, the gates of the Garh(Fort) seemed huge and overpowering. Papa usually entered through the main entrance and we would walk over with mummy using the back entrance through Raghuveer mama's Nora.
My enchanting memories of Mandapiya are in-numerous and I have finally decided to write them down. In this blog you will be able to read and learn all about Mandapiya's glorious history and graceful present.
